Services and content
wecker.ing presents consulting, audit and implementation services in IT, AI and Green IT. The scope, deliverables, terms and price of each engagement are set out in a separate proposal. Services are offered to professional clients only. The site does not accept online orders or payments.
The demonstrations use fictional situations and prepared responses. They do not process visitor data or call an AI model. AI services provided to a client are scoped separately for each engagement.
Text, logos and illustrations are subject to the applicable rights of their holders. Reuse beyond statutory exceptions requires permission from the relevant rights holder. Referenced trademarks remain those of their respective owners.
Privacy
This notice covers browsing wecker.ing and enquiries sent to contact@wecker.ing. It does not replace the provisions agreed for a client engagement.
The data controller is Sébastien Weckering EI, at the business address given above. For questions or requests concerning your data:
When you contact me
The data processed is what you send: your name, business contact details, organisation, message and relevant attachments. It is used to reply, understand your needs and prepare a proposal. A reply address and a description of your needs are required to handle the enquiry; other information is optional.
If you request a service for yourself, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For an enquiry on behalf of an organisation or a general question, the basis is the legitimate interest in managing and responding to business enquiries.
Do not include passwords, access keys or sensitive data in an initial message. A suitable channel can be agreed if the engagement requires confidential documents.
Browsing and site security
The site code has no user accounts, forms or analytics tool. As with any hosted website, Gandi’s web server records each request in a technical log: domain name, IP address, date and time, processing time, method and requested URL including any parameters, protocol version, response code and size, referring page when sent, and the browser and operating system reported by the browser (User-Agent). These logs support operation, error diagnosis and security, based on the legitimate interest in protecting the service.
Recipients and location
Enquiries are handled by Sébastien Weckering. Gandi provides website hosting in France. Email is provided by Proton Mail, a service of Proton AG, a company based in Switzerland. No CRM is used. The website does not send messages to an AI service.
The website does not automatically send data to Proton. If you send an email, it is processed by Proton Mail. According to its privacy policy, its servers are located in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. Germany and Norway are part of the European Economic Area, and Switzerland benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision. Gandi acts as a processor under its data processing agreement: hosted data stays on the selected server, in France, with no onward transfer.
Retention periods
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted no later than 12 months after the last exchange. Once deleted, an email may remain for up to 30 days in Proton’s encrypted backups. For an accepted engagement, the applicable operational and archival retention periods are specified in the contractual documents.
Web server logs are cleared automatically every 30 days. An entry may then remain in a hosting snapshot until it expires, at most 14 days later. A visit is therefore not retained for more than 44 days. The four hosting restore points are retained for 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days and 14 days respectively. According to Gandi, no other backup copy of the logs or site files is kept under the plan.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you can request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. Portability applies to automated processing based on contract or consent where its conditions are met.
Send your request to contact@wecker.ing or by post to the business address. You must receive a response within one month; if complexity or the number of requests justifies an extension, you will be informed within that period. Proportionate identity checks may be requested if there is reasonable doubt.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
The site does not make automated decisions or carry out profiling concerning its visitors.
Accessibility
The site aims for WCAG 2.2 level AA. It can be used entirely with a keyboard, remains readable at high zoom or on a 320-pixel-wide screen, respects the system “reduce motion” setting and lets you pause animations.
Checks carried out on 17 October 2026: automated axe-core analysis, keyboard navigation, content reflow, text spacing and contrast. These checks are not a full RGAA audit or a test with users of assistive technologies.
If any content is difficult for you to access, write to contact@wecker.ing : an adapted version will be provided.
